Initiated Desiring Universe at Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop

Very excited to be exhibiting a new installation work at Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop.

Over the last few years I’ve been developing a body of work informed by structures, reciprocities and underlying narratives I encountered during a research trip to Findhorn beach.

The exhibition continues the themes and materials I have been exploring,  expanding in scale and including recent experiments with pewter casting, printmaking and casting sand.

The resulting installation considers the coast as an embodied, relational and imaginal space. Found and constructed materials, held in precarity and poise, hint at unseen complexity; playfully challenging notions of landscape as a solid backdrop upon which human activity occurs.
